Submitted comments to NDRC on Products Catalog of Energy Efficiency Label (15th Batch)

On 7th February, the European Chamber's Energy working group submitted comments to the National Development and Reform Commission on Products Catalog of Energy Efficiency Label (15th Batch).

The working group suggested that for air purifiers' informational query QR codes, a three-month transition period is instated to ensure completion after the energy efficiency identification network system becomes available in April 2020. Therefore the implementation rules should be set from August 1, 2020 instead of of May 1, 2020. 

The working group also selected to ease pressure on air purifier manufacturers by removing the requirement that products manufactured before May 1, 2020 also apply for an energy efficiency label before May 1, 2021.
