Meeting with Mr Zhuang Zhaolin, Mayor of Xuzhou Municipal Government

On 3 June , European Chamber Nanjing Chapter board members and Xuzhou local members, led by Bernhard Weber, chair of the Nanjing Chapter, paid a visit to Xuzhou, Jiangsu province and met with Zhuang Zhaolin, mayor of Xuzhou Municipal Government.

Mayor Zhuang welcomed the European Chamber delegation and briefly introduced the history and development situation of Xuzhou. He also outlined Xuzhou's policy to promote industrial transformation and development of SMEs, as well as the current trade and investment relations between Xuzhou and Europe. The two sides also discussed the potential for future collaboration between European businesses and Xuzhou. the MOU of establishment of European SME park was also signed in the meeting under the witness of both sides

Mr Weber introduced the European Chamber and delivered the concerns and issues of members face in Xuzhou. the Nanjing Position Paper was also presented to the mayor.
