Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce Visits the Chamber on Future Cooperation

On 30 June, Mr Liu Guang, Deputy Director General of Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, paid a visit to the European Chamber's Shanghai Chapter. Ms Clarissa Shen, Board Member of the Shanghai Chapter, received the delegation from Anhui and discussed potential cooperation with the Anhui authorities, especially in healthcare sector. In addition, Ms Shen presented the key findings of the the Chamber's Business Confidence Survey 2020. She emphasized the importance of granting full market access to foreign companies in China in order to have a speedy economic recovery during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Mr Liu expressed his willingness to facilitate future cooperation between Anhui and the healthcare companies of the European Chamber. Mr Liu also invited the Chamber members to attend the World Manufacturing Convention 2020 that is going to take place online in September.
