Meeting with Director - General of Jiangsu Intellectual Property Administration

On 16th July, European Chamber Nanjing Chapter members, led by Bernhard Weber, chair of the Nanjing Chapter, paid a visit to Jiangsu Intellectual Property Administration (IPA) and met with Zhi Suping, director general of Jiangsu IPA.
Ms Zhi welcomed the European Chamber delegation and briefly introduced the responsibilities and achievement of the Jiangsu IPA, as well as its future plan and work priority. Mr Weber introduced the Chamber's duties and responsibilities and the concerns of members in terms of the intellectual property rights and research and development environment. The two sides also discussed the findings related to intellectual property in the Chamber’s Business Confidence Survey 2020, which Mr Weber presented to Ms Zhi.
After the meeting, a round-table discussion was held with representatives from local European business and government.
