Meeting with Tianjin Industry and Information Technology Bureau on Green Development

On 22 July, a delegation led by Vice Director Li Zhi, Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Department, Tianjin Industry and Information Technology Bureau visited the Chamber Tianjin office and held a Q&A session for the policy on green development with the Chamber members. 20 representatives from 19 members of various industries including pharmaceutical,packaging, auto component, new energy,etc joint the policy interpretation. 

Officer Xu Yucheng introduced the policy background and overall implementation of the green development in Tianjin and the related supporting measures, including green factory, green supply chain and green product. The policies have started implementing in Tianjin since 2017 and foreign invested enterprises have been encouraged to apply for, specially for green supply chain and green product. Tianjin Industry and Information Bureau appreciates the actions and ambitious sustainable development goals have made by the European manufacturing operating in Tianjin.

At the last of the meeting, The European Chamber Business Confidence Survey 2020 was presented to Officer Xu by the General Manager of Tianjin Chapter Catherine Guo.
