BCS Meeting with the Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Office

On 11 August, a delegation from the European Chamber lead by the European Chamber South China Board Member, Fabian Blake, met with the Deputy Director of the Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Office, Jiang Ji, to discuss the findings of the European Chamber's Business Confidence Survey. The Zhongshan government recognized the efforts the European Chamber has made to keep our members well informed and strengthen communication with the government. The Foreign Affairs Office stated that Zhongshan was one of the cities to open up and normalize business in the GBA despite the adverse effects of the epidemic. They promised to keep being an open and inclusive environment for foreign business, particularly for EUCCC members, and to work hard in returning foreigners stuck abroad back to China. Deputy Director Jiang concluded the meeting emphasising Zhongshan's willingness to provide quality services to businesses in the city.
