EUCCC South China Chapter Meets with Guangdong Department of Commerce Deputy Director Chen Yuehua during Chambers of Commerce Dialogue

On 21 September, South China staff met with Guangdong Department of Commerce Deputy Director Chen Yuehua along with other local Chambers of Commerce to discuss difficulties facing members and suggestions for the Department. The European Chamber described the issues facing our members in details with obtaining PU Letters being the primary concern facing the South China Chapter, especially for teachers. The requirements vary across the Greater Bay Area with some cities even highlighting financial requirements for companies as a standard for receiving PU Letters. This was surprising to the Deputy Director and the issue was promised to be address. The issue of better access to GBA Development information was presented, as well. Concluding the meeting, a copy of the 2020 European Chamber Position Paper was presented to Deputy Director Chen by South China staff.
