Meeting with vice mayor of Nantong Municipal Government

On 23 September , Bernhard Weber, chair of the Nanjing Chapter, led a delegation of members, paid a visit to Nantong Jiangsu province and met with Pan Jianhua,  Vice mayor of Nantong Municipal Government.
Mayor Pan welcomed the European Chamber delegation and briefly introduced the history and development situation of Nantong. He also outlined Nantong’s future development plan with the integration of Yangtze River Delta Region and the unquiet opportunity brought by the integration. The two sides also discussed the potential for future collaboration between European businesses and Nantong.
Mr Weber introduced the European Chamber and delivered the concerns and issues of European Businesses face in Nantong and Jiangsu. the Business Confidence Survey was also presented to the mayor.
