President Wuttke Joins European Parliament Public Hearing on EU-China Relations

On 9th November, European Chamber President Joerg Wuttke joined a panel discussion as part of a public hearing at the European Parliament organised by the Committee on International Trade (INTA Committee). The meeting was led by INTA Chair Bernd Lange, with opening remarks delivered by Rapporteur Iuliu Winkler.

The panel was composed of various experts on EU-China relations, including: Alicia Garcia Herrero, Senior Fellow at Bruegel; Andreea Brinza, Vice president of the Romanian Institute for the Study of the Asia-Pacific; Leah Butler, Vice President of the Responsible Business Alliance; President Wuttke; and Helena Koenig, Deputy Director-General at DG Trade.

President Wuttke provided an overview of the key points of the 2020/2021 Position Paper and addressed a number of questions from the Members of the European Parliament.
