Meeting with Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission

On December 7th, the European Chamber South China Chapter members met with Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission to discuss our suggestions on Shenzhen’s reform measures for foreign businesses. 

Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission is conducting research and drafting the reform policies for Shenzhen as it gains more local legislation power after becoming China’s Socialist Demonstration Area.

After receiving the European Chamber’s National Position Paper 2020/2021 and South China Position Paper 2019/2020 from the Shenzhen Vice Mayor office, the local government's policy researchers would like to further understand the suggestions from our member companies, particularly in the advanced technology industries. Shenzhen will remain the experimental city of China’s policy reforms.
