Chamber Vice Chairman Speaks at China International Technology Fair Opening Roundtable Dialogue

On 15th April, European Chamber Vice President and Chairman of the Shanghai Board Carlo D'Andrea spoke at the China International Technology Fair opening round table dialogue chaired by the former China Chief negotiator for the WTO Mr. Long Yongtu. Together on the panel were Mr Zhou Hanmin, vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the China Democratic National Construction Association, Huo Jianguo, Vice President of China World Trade Organization Research Association and Zhang Jun, Dean of School of Economics, Fudan University.

During the dialogue Carlo discussed the importance of continuing the multilateral dialogues and the timely ratification of the CAI. Attending the opening ceremony were also Gong Zheng, mayor of Shanghai, Zong Ming, Vice Mayor, Wang Bingnan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Xu Nanping, Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as Zhao Gang, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
