Closed-door Meeting with the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC)

On 10th June, the European Chamber held a closed-door meeting with the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). Executive Deputy Director YIN Yisheng, from Office of the Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reform, was present and exchanged views with European Chamber President Joerg Wuttke on China's State-owned Enterprise (SOE) Reform. European Chamber State's Representative and Advisory Council member Ms Renata Pavlov also attended the meeting. 

During the meeting, Mr Yin stressed the importance of the foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) in the SOE reform. He also expressed his confidence in the reform and believed that SOEs will become more vital and competitive.

The meeting was concluded by the exchange of publications from SASAC and the European Chamber.
