EU-Wood Position Paper presentation to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD)

Mr. Zhang Shaoming, Chair of the EU-Wood Desk, presented the European Chamber 2014/15 Position Paper to Mr. CHEN Guoyi, Director, Division of Standards and Codes, Department of Standards and Norms, Ministry of Housing and Rural Development (MOHURD).

Mr. Zhang gave an overview of the relevant Key Recommendations, which lead to a more detailed discussion about proposed revisions to the Action Plan of Green Buildings - jointly issued by The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and MOHURD, and, fire code GB50016 - to include wood products that meet the fire safety requirement.
