Online meeting with Ms. Zhu Yi, Deputy Director General of Shanghai Commerce Commission

On April 28th, European Chamber Vice President Bettina Schoen and General Manager of Shanghai Chapter Dr. Ioana Kraft had an online meeting with Ms. Zhu Yi, Deputy Director of Shanghai Commerce Commission and her team to present the challenges facing by member companies during this period.

Vice President Bettina Schoen and Shanghai Chapter General Manager Ioana Kraft discussed with DDG Zhu the key issues including transportation, supply chains, shortage of manpower and business resumption and provided the recommendations for epidemic prevention during the meeting.

DDG Zhu echoed many of the issues raised by our members including the transportation and supply chain issues, the whitelist, close loop management, uncertainty of the epidemic prevention, vaccination and donations etc. The two sides also discussed about the cooperation especially for a roundtable with the member companies likely to be in May.
