Meeting with China Renewable Energy Society

Chairs from the Renewable Energy Working Group and the Smart Grid Working Group met with Mr. Shi Dinghuan, President of China Renewable Energy Society, and presented the Position Paper on behalf of the European Chamber. They introduced their respective working groups and advocacies in the Position Paper to Mr. Shi Dinghuan.

Mr. Shi highly appreciated recommendations in the Position Paper, saying that these suggestions are constructive for the development of China’s energy industry. By introducing his recent business trip to Europe, he highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation between the EU and China. He welcomed European companies to bring more advanced technologies to China’s energy market so as to bend it towards a sustainable, efficient and eco-friendly direction.
