Meeting with Sichuan Development & Reform Commission and CCPIT

On 26th October, 2022, Southwest China Chapter of European Chamber had a meeting with Sichuan Development & Reform Commission and CCPIT in Chengdu. During the meeting, Massimo and Sally introduced EU SME Centre and also addressed the main SME issues / suggestions as below.
1. Difficulty for SMEs to get financial support from local government and from finance institution
2. Suggest local government to put the next priority on SMEs if they want to attract more new FDI since most big fishes are already in China and also SMEs contribute lots of know-how and jobs
3. Further deepening of close cooperation actions in term of policy making to facilitate the landing and daily operation of European Companies in Sichuan (with a focus on the SMEs).
