Meeting with Vice Mayor of Xuzhou Municipal Government

On 10 November 2022 , European Chamber Nanjing Chapter board members and Xuzhou local members, led by Dr Andreas Risch, chair of the Nanjing Chapter, paid a visit to Xuzhou, Jiangsu province and met with Wu Weidong, vice mayor of Xuzhou Municipal Government.

Vice mayor Wu welcomed the European Chamber delegation and briefly introduced the history and development situation of Xuzhou, as well as the current trade and investment relations between Xuzhou and Europe. The two sides also discussed the potential for future collaboration between European businesses and Xuzhou. Concerns and issues raised by members, such as energy supply, environmental examination, exit-entry policy were also answered by the relevant government authorities.
