European Chamber South China Board Chair meets Fuzhou New Area government delegation

On 2nd February, European Chamber South China Board Chair Mr. Klaus Zenkel met with Fuzhou New Area government delegation. 

Fuzhou New Area is one of the national level new areas, located near the coastline of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Officially launched in August 2015 with the aim of creating a hub for modern industries in Southeast China, while deepening international cooperation and cross-strait exchanges.  

During the respective meeting in Shenzhen, an overall introduction and current development status of the Fuzhou New Area were presented. Infrastructural facilities such as a new international airport have been built as means to establish an air logistics and tax declaration trade base between European countries and Fuzhou. The meeting concluded by highlighting the anticipation for more and deeper trade and investment cooperation between Fujian and European Chamber.
