Meeting with Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology

On 1^st March, the representatives of European Chamber visited the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology and presented the 2022/2023 position paper. During the meeting, both sides exchanged opinions in terms of the establishment of research centres in China by foreign companies, cross-border data transfer, self-reliance mindset, market access issues and other. Ministry of Science and Technology applauded Chamber’s work on improving business environment and ensuring a level playing field in China and would like to engage more with the Chamber for further activity such high-level dialogue, China-EU Research and Innovation stakeholders tour and other industrial specific event.
