European Chamber Met with Vice Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC)

On 22^nd March, the Vice Minister of the International Department of Central Committee of Communist Party of China (IDCPC), Qian Hongshan received the European Chamber Delegation led by President Wuttke. President Wuttke briefed the counterpart on Chamber’s recent trip to Brussels and recent investment and trade development between the European Union (EU) and China. President Wuttke also presented the European Business in China Position Paper 2022/2023 (Position Paper).

Vice Minister Qian thanked the President for the information and the reports. He recognized the concerns raised by the European Chamber and emphasized that China has benefited from opening and reform policy and will continue to do so.  

Both sides agreed to continue to work closely in the future.
