Met with Vice Minister of Commerce

On 14th April 2023, the European Chamber South China Board Chair Mr Klaus Zenkel was invited to the Opening Ceremony of China Import and Export Fair, and met with Wang Shouwen, China International Trade Representative (minister's level) and Vice Minister of Commerce. 

Mr Wang welcomed Mr Zenkel to attend the ceremony and shared that the Canton fair served as a good platform to promote business and investment opportunities, facilitating connections and partnerships between European businesses and potential partners in China.

Mr Zenkel thanked the China International Trade Representative for the invitation and conveyed the message that the European Chamber, representing European business, will spare no effort in promoting a level playing field, to help member companies better perform in trade and investment.
