Another topic of discussion was the future development and direction of Hainan and the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The Chamber representatives and government officials discussed the potential for increased cooperation between the two regions, with the aim of creating a more integrated and cohesive business environment.

In response, the government officials shared that they will provide some trainings to help SMEs transition to a digital business model first, including educating business owners and employees on the benefits of digitalisation and how to implement it effectively.
