Meeting with Foshan Government

On 9^th June, European Chamber Business and Government Affairs Manager Lynn Wu and Event Manager Mo Jingqian met with Ms Peng Ling, senior project manager of Foshan Investment Promotion Institute and Liang Canqiang, deputy director of Investment Promotion and Exhibition Department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Foshan.

This meeting mainly focused on the future cooperation between the Chamber and the Foshan Government. Ms Wu introduced the Chamber’s main missions and different working groups which help member companies to gain business intelligence to better operate in China and build a bridge to share the member voices with the local governments to create an international business environment. Besides, she also shared the Business Confidence Survey Launch 2023 in July in Shenzhen.

Both parties shared experiences on holding events and agreed to update related information with each other to bridge the information gap. Furthermore, the increased cooperation between the Foshan Government and the Chamber will greatly benefit European companies, enabling them to access first-hand local information and improve their performance.
