Meeting with the Shanghai Commission of Commerce

On 7th September, the European Chamber hosted a roundtable with Director General Zhu Min of the Shanghai Commission of Commerce (SCOFCOM).

Mr Carlo D’Andrea, Vice President of the European Chamber and Chair of the Shanghai Chapter, led a delegation of member company representatives. They discussed the key issues European companies face in Shanghai and their perspectives on improving Shanghai’s business environment, as well as the findings of the 2023 Business Confidence Survey. 

Both sides agreed to further collaboration and to work closely to improve the business environment in Shanghai.
