European Chamber Shenyang Chapter Chair Mr. Erich Kaiserseder Spoke at the 2023 Global Industrial Internet Conference Sino-German Industrial Internet Forum

On October 18, 2023, Mr. Erich Kaiserseder, Chair European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, attended and delivered opening remarks at the 2023 Global Industrial Internet Conference Sino-German Industrial Internet Forum, at the invitation of the Shenyang Municipal People's Government. The event was also attended by Mr. Jiyang Duan, Vice Mayor of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Zhongxiao Guo, Secretary of the CPC Tiexi District Committee, and Ms. Zhen Wang, Regional Manager Northeast China of Germany Chamber of Commerce in China North, along with other government officials and business leaders in Shenyang.

Erich noted that, in the face of challenges and uncertainties worldwide, China and Europe, as each other's first and second-largest trading partners, are are not immune to these global shifts. However, behind these challenges lie even more opportunities for economic and trade development. In the past year, the bilateral trade volume reached 856.3 billion euros, which clearly demonstrates the closeness and depth of China-EU economic ties. He believes that with continued efforts and deeper exchanges between both sides, the potential for the development of China-EU economic and trade relations will become even greater. Erich also expressed his gratitude to Shenyang Municipal People’s Government for their ongoing efforts to improve the foreign investment environment and to enhance the city's attractiveness. He looks forward to building a bright future of innovation, cooperation, and mutual success for China and Europe.
