European Chamber Supported the Green Methanol Key Technology and Market Demand Seminar Hosted by the Biomass Energy Industry Promotion Association (BEIPA)

On 18th October 2023, the "Green Methanol Key Technology and Market Demand Seminar" hosted by the Biomass Energy Industry Promotion Association (BEIPA) and supported by the European Chamber was successfully held in Beijing. The speakers shared the global development trend, the sustainable certification, the market demand and the synthesis route and process of green methanol.

Lily Zhang, Chair of the European Chamber Quality and Safety Services Working Group concluded that China and Europe have huge space for cooperation in bio-methanol for ships and sustainable aviation fuels. European energy companies are also actively laying out bioenergy R&D in China. In the future, the Chamber will continue to cooperate with the BEIPA as well as domestic and international units to jointly construct an international ecosystem that covers the whole bioenergy industrial value chain.
