2023 Dialogue Between Xi'An and Multinational Corporations in Shanghai

On 6th November, the chair of rail working group together with several members from rail working group and GA forum joined the 2023 Dialogue Between Xi'An and Multinational Corporations in Shanghai during the CIIE, the vice mayor of Xi'an Mr Huang Qiang attended the dialogue.

During the meeting, the chair of rail working group delivered a speech and introduced the European chamber and its rail working group. She noted that the chamber appreciated the great effort made by the Xi'an government to attract foreign investment and promote the foreign business environment. The European chamber would like to act as a bridge to facilitate mutual communication and cooperation between FIEs and Chinses government.

Huang Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of Xi'an Municipal Party Committee and vice mayor of Xi'an, said at the dialogue that global companies are important thrusts to promote the economic development of various places and key driving forces to lead the development of industries, and that their cross-regional layouts also reflect the openness level of a city from the side.

Huang Qiang hoped that this dialogue would be an opportunity to further enhance the mutual understanding between Xi'an and the entrepreneurs of multinational corporations, and he also welcomed the entrepreneurs to come into Xi'an and invest in Xi'an.
