On 24 November 2023, European Chamber National President Jens Eskelund, Nanjing Chapter Chair Andreas Risch, Vice Chair Shan Jianhua and board members had a meeting with Secretary of Nanjing Committee of the CPC, Han Liming

Both parties acknowledged Nanjing's rich scientific and educational resources, solid industrial foundation, and promising prospects in green and low-carbon transformation. The President Jens Eskelund briefed Chamber EU tour to Brussels this October and introduced Chamber's stance on the  State Council’s Opinions on Attracting and Optimising Foreign Investment.
