Meeting with the European Institute of Peace

On 1st December, European Chamber Shanghai Office received the visiting delegation of the European Institute of Peace, led by Executive Director Mr Michael Keating. Mr Jens Ewert, Vice Chair of Shanghai Chapter, and Mr Steven Basart, General Manager of Shanghai Chapter, joined the meeting.

The two sides exchanged work priorities, and had a discussion on how to promote EU-China trade relations in the overall climate, which has been marked by increasingly competitive geopolitics. Findings from European Chamber's latest Position Paper and Business Confidence Survey were also shared.
