Meeting with Jing'an District Commission of Commerce

European Chamber Shanghai Chapter Secretariat visited the Jing'an District Commission of Commerce and was received by the Director of Commission Zhao Lantian and the deputy director of the district Investment Promotion Center Du Lingqin.

European Chamber thanked the Jing'an government for its good governance and service to the companies in its district. It has been well received by the Chamber's many members particularly those of consumer goods. However, the European Chamber pointed out that there are still concerns or problems facing companies in either their daily operations or overall development in China. 

In order to help the government hear more voices and thereby contribute to a better development of Jing'an, the European Chamber proposed a roundtable between the Chamber members and the district government. The proposal was well received. 

The two sides will work closely together on planning the roundtable.
