2024 EU-Guangzhou Business Dialogue was successfully held in Guangzhou

The First EU-Guangzhou Business Dialogue, jointly organized by the European Chamber, the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Huangpu District Government of Guangzhou, took place on January 24th. This conference focused on addressing policy-related issues concerning Guangzhou's latest developments and policies for foreign companies, as well as challenges faced by member companies of the chamber in their investments and operations.

Representatives from over 70 European enterprises, including Linde Group, Decathlon, Siemens, Danone, and Covestro, attended the event. The European Union Delegation, Consuls Generals from European consulates in Guangzhou, as well as officials from various departments of Guangdong Province, the city, and the district, totalling nearly 120 people, were also present.

Officials from Guangzhou's functional departments, such as the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and others, engaged with representatives of European enterprises on the issues of their concern and provided on-site clarifications.
