European Chamber Shenyang Chapter and Shenhe District Government of Shenyang Hold Talks on Boosting Local Cultural and Tourism Industry Development

On February 1st, 2024, in a significant move to boost the development of the cultural and tourism industry in Shenhe District, Shenyang, the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter (hereinafter referred to as "European Chamber") held talks with the local government of Shenhe District, Shenyang. The meeting took place in the boardroom of the Conrad Hotel, marking a collaborative effort to rejuvenate the area's cultural and tourism sectors.

The European Chamber was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Erich Kaiserseder and Office Manager, Mr. Leo Liu. The Shenhe District's delegation included District Chief Mr. Shi Guoqi, Deputy District Chief Mr. Yang Yuzhi, Director of the Cultural and Tourism Bureau Mr. Zhou Junshan, Head of Beizhan Street Office Ms. Liu Nan, and Director of the Shenhe District Ancient City Revival Development Service Center Ms. Yang Hui, among other district leaders.

The discussions centered around leveraging international cultural and tourism activities through collaboration with the Conrad Hotel and the City Government Plaza, and other international series of cultural and tourism events like the European Chamber and the Former Governor's Office in Northeast China's large Spring Festival cultural and tourism market. The aim was to transform Shenhe District and even Shenyang into a hub of innovation in culture and tourism.

Mr. Shi expressed the local government's full support for the Shenyang Chapter's series of cultural and tourism activities. He looked forward to deepening and intensifying the cooperation between the two sides. Shi even went as far as to directly assign department heads to supervise the planning and execution of the cultural and tourism events proposed by the Shenyang Chapter, showcasing a strong commitment to the partnership's success.
