The European Chamber delegation was composed of representatives from ten companies representing various sectors including cosmetics, fashion & leather, pharmaceutical, sports, and manufacturing.

In his remarks, Chairman Carlo D’Andrea recognised Jing’an district’s accomplishment in creating a good business environment and market regulation. However, Chairman D’Andrea also pointed out that if further improvement would be made in areas of Intellectual Property Protection (IPR), providing better support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering more price ranges for the office and shop store rents, more foreign companies would find their home in Jing’an.

The European Chamber’s dialogue with the District mayor Wang was open and constructive, and the two sides agreed to build stronger and more exchanges with the Jing’an district in the future.
