Representatives from the European Chamber, the EU SME Centre and IP SME Helpdesk meet with Director-General for DG GROW Kerstin Jorna

On 22nd February, representatives from the EU SME Centre, the IP SME Helpdesk and the European Chamber, together with a reduced group of European SMEs and IP experts, met with Director-General for DG GROW Kerstin Jorna and her team at the Centre offices in Beijing. The meeting took place in the context of the Director-General’s visit to China and ahead of her exchange with Vice-Minister of MIIT Xin Guobin for the annual EU-China Industrial Policy Dialogue.
Representatives from the Centre and the Helpdesk provided an overview of their respective projects, while the SMEs and IP experts shared their experiences operating in the Chinese market, including challenges, opportunities and potential areas for engagement between the EU and China in terms of SME policies and best practices.
