European Chamber Vice President Engages in Dialogue with Guangdong Vice Governor

On April 14th, Klaus Zenkel, Vice President of the European Chamber and Chair of the South China Board, was invited to participate in the opening reception of the China Import and Export Fair. During this event, he engaged in a productive dinner meeting with Lin Tao, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province.

Zenkel began by recognising the pivotal role of the Fair in enhancing trade and business ties between China and Europe. He then shared insightful perspectives on potential areas for cooperation between Guangdong and Europe, including key work points outlined by the Chamber's South China Chapter for 2024: Confidence, Green, and Innovation.

Lin warmly welcomed Zenkel's presence and expressed appreciation for the European Chamber's efforts. He affirmed his belief in the abundant collaboration opportunities available, which could bring mutual benefits to both sides.
