European Chamber Vice President Addresses at the 2024 China-Europe Industrial Investment Cooperation Conference

On June 20th, Mr Klaus Zenkel, Vice President of the European Chamber and the South China Board Chair, was invited to participate in the Guangzhou Development District / Huangpu District Global Investment Promotion Year-2024 China-Europe Industrial Investment Cooperation Conference and deliver a keynote speech.

During the speech, Mr Zenkel highlighted key data concerning European members in South China in the Business Confidence Survey 2024 and emphasized the European Chamber’s efforts in promoting the extended preferential individual income tax policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He also expressed gratitude for the government’s support in implementing these policies and its valuable assistance in addressing the problems encountered by European companies.

Mr. Zenkel also met with Mr. Xu Bing, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China in Guangzhou, and Mr. Huang Xin, Second Inspector of the Department of Commerce, Guangdong Province, for an informative discussion.
