Meeting with Ms Deng Lin, President of Chongqing Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CQ-CCPIT)

On 30th August, the European Chamber Vice President and Southwest China Board Chair, Mr. Massimo Bagnasco and the European Chamber Secretary General, Mr. Adam Dunnett had a meeting with President of Chongqing Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CQ-CCPIT), Deng Lin.

President Deng Lin said that Chongqing, as the only municipality directly under the central government in the central and western regions of China, boasts favorable geographical advantages, a solid industrial foundation, and an excellent business environment. She expressed her hope that the European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) would continue to play a bridging role in promoting more European enterprises to invest and start businesses in Chongqing, thus achieving mutual benefit, win-win results, and common development. The CCPIT Chongqing will further leverage its unique advantages in connecting governments and enterprises, integrating domestic and foreign resources, and facilitating supply and demand to provide various services for European enterprises investing in Chongqing.

Mr. Massimo Bagnasco expressed his gratitude for President Deng Lin's warm reception. He noted that the EUCCC attaches great importance to the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle strategy, and member enterprises in the region have given high praise to Chongqing's economic development and business environment. Both sides agreed to establish a regular exchange mechanism to jointly promote the development of European enterprises in Chongqing and address their needs and issues in the development process.
