Meeting with Invest Guangzhou

On August 11, 2015, European Chamber met with Invest Guangzhou. During this meeting representatives of Invest Guangzhou introduced the latest developments in business environment in Guangzhou as well as promoted the Nansha Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

Guangzhou government plan to visit European countries to promote investment in the Nansha FTZ and encourage companies to locate their investment there. 

Representatives of Invest Guangzhou proposed to sign MOU with the European Chamber to facilitate regular communication and exchange of knowledge. At the same time they also could be the facilitator of high level and working level meetings with local government. Through the European Chamber, local government hopes to promote and attract invest in Guangzhou city.

The meeting concluded with the handover of South China Position Paper 2014/2015 by Mr. Alberto Vettoretti, Chairman of South China Board, European Chamber to Mr. Wuyi, Director-General, Invest Guangzhou.  Mr. Alberto Vettoretti, Chairman of the European Chamber, SC Chapter was invited to continue to act as an Advisor on behalf of the European Chamber to the Invest Guangzhou.
