On 1st March, the European Chamber members attended the online seminar on supply chains hosted by the China Center for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). Seminar on Breast-milk Substitutes Marketing with United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the National Health Commission (NHC), State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), China Advertising Association (CAA), and China Development Research Foundat

World Health Organisation (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) planned to jointly release a report on infant formula marketing practices on Feb 23. The report focuses on parents and pregnant women worldwide who are facing aggressive marketing practices conducted by infant formula companies. Prior to the release of this report, the China Advertising Association (CAA) invited UNICEF, the National Health Commission (NHC), State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) and European Union Chamber of Commerce in China to participate in a seminar on breast milk substitutes marketing.
