The Chairs of the Insurance Working Group and Director of Government Affairs, Mr Xavier Sans Powell met with Director Lin Honglun, International Cooperation Department, China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
The purpose of the meeting was to give an overview of the outline of the insurance position paper which the Working Group is currently drafting in order to get the feedback from CIRC. The meeting ended with the proposal from CIRC to organise a joint workshop regarding insurance and new technologies like autonomous cars.
Meeting with Director of Statistics Department of NIFA
The European Chamber invited Director Zhou Guolin to a joint meeting organized by the financial services working groups in order to get an introduction to the NIFA and discuss with members the recent trends and challenges faced by internet finance, the regulatory environment and future perspectives of Internet+ as well as the role of European companies.
