On 2nd November, European Chamber President Jörg Wuttke, along with vice presidents Jens Eskelund and Bruno Weill, were received by President Peng Yong of the China Economic Cooperation Center (CECC) of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) in Beijing.

The European Chamber Tianjin Chapter organised its 2nd Carbon Neutrality Conference: The Role of European Business in China's Race to 2060 along with Green Partnership of Industrial Parks at Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin on Wednesday, 2nd November 2022. This event is also in memory of Guido Giacconi, former Vice President of the European Chamber, and a former passionate leader of the Chamber’s Energy Working Group, who visited Tianjin several times and supported this conference as the keynote speaker last year. Mickael Naouri, Vice Chair of the European Chamber Energy Working Group made a presentation on the work of the energy working group and moderated the panel discussion.
