European Chamber representatives participated the EU Delegation member states agricultural counsellors monthly meeting. During the meeting, European Chamber shared industry's understanding and concern on the newly released GACC Regulation on Registration Administration of Overseas Manufactures of Imported Foods and Administrative Measures on Safety of Import and Export Food. Participants also shared their comments on these two regulations and its implementation. It was aligned European Chamber and EU Delegation will work together on the further clarification and longer transition period on the implementation of these regulations.

(中国电力科学研究院有限公司) and Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance (中关村储能产业技术联盟); and the European side: Linde and Rolls-Royce.

The participants discussed Decrees 248 and 249 of the General Customs Administration of China related to the registration of food businesses exporting to China, which had been notified under G/SPS/N/CHN/1191 and G/TBT/N/CHN/1522 and were published on 12 April 2021. European Chamber shared industry's understanding and comments on the two regulations and their implementation.
