The European Chamber was represented by the Energy WG Vice Chair in the Sino-Europe Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Summit Forum hosted in Shanghai by TUV Rheinland, a member company involved in the Energy and Environment Working Groups. The keynote speech focused on potential areas of collaboration for EU-China in this sector as well as the current challenges and developments in wind energy, hydrogen and expectations in the lead up to COP26. Other keynote speakers included Qimin Chai, Director of Strategic Planning at the National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC) and Dr Jin Li, General Manager of Carbon Neutral Operation Centre-Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange.
