On 1st August, European Chamber Carbon Market Sub-working Group welcomed Director Liu Haiyan from the National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC), Prof. Zhang Da from the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economics, Tsinghua University, and Ms. Yutong Song from Refinitiv Carbon Research team to discuss the opportunities and challenges brought by the restart of CCER.

On 16th February, the European Chamber Finance and Taxation Working Group held a working group meeting to share insight on the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and China’s footstep in the carbon-related tax policies.
Paolo Caridi, Policy Coordinator of DG CLIMA of the European Commission, introduced the EU’s CBAM, and Cong Zhang, Partner of Ernst & Young, provided the perspective from China side taking stock of the current tax policies in the country and sharing insight on the relevant framework discussions.
Seminar Series on Circular Economy: Session III Recycling and Remanufacturing Plastic Wastes
Third session - session III remanufacturing plastic wastes was co-organized with China Circular Economy Association, experts from the EU Delegation and the China Association of Circular Economy (CACE), GIZ and the member companies shared the policies and rules on plastic wastes, and some members talked about their visions and practice of developing this market.
