The Legal & Competition Working Group organised a meeting with Mofcom’s WTO Affairs department in order to discuss the newly issued rules by the State Council on strengthening the WTO rules compliance. The meeting focuses on how to propel the market access for foreign-invested companies and improve the national treatment via such mechanism. The above mentioned rules set up a mechanism for the first time that allow MNCs to express to Mofcom their concerns regarding the inconsistency of policies.
