Vice President Klaus Zenkel Attends VIP Meeting with Guangdong Governor in Munich, Germany
On September 6th, Mr Klaus Zenkel, Vice President of the European Chamber and Chair of the South China Chapter, participated in the Greater Bay Area and Europe Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference in Munich, Germany. During this event, he had a VIP session with Guangdong Governor Mr Wang Weizhong, along with Bavaria State Secretary Mr Weigert, German Parliament member Mr Friedrich, BASF CEO Dr Brudermueller, and 20 other entrepreneurs.

European Chamber Vice President Bernhart and Secretary General Dunnett met Michael Hager and Zaneta Vegnere, Head and Deputy Head of Cabinet for European Commission Vice President Dombrovskis on September 8th. The two cabinet members were in Beijing for preparatory talks for the upcoming EU-China High Level Dialogue scheduled for September 25-27th between Vice President Dombrovskis and his counterpart.
CDMD Representatives Attends High-Level Dialogue on Cross-Border Cooperation in the Life and Health Industry in Changping, Beijing
CDMD Vice Chair Mr. Liu Ning attended a high-level dialogue on cross-border cooperation in the life and health industry, representing the European Chamber of Commerce and advocating for favorable business environments and policies for foreign companies in the field of life sciences.
During the dialogue, Mr. Liu Ning highlighted the broad development space in Changping District and the significant influence of open innovation platforms in the medical innovation field. The European Chamber of Commerce sees that Changping District is striving to build a local innovation ecosystem and encourage the construction of open innovation and research and development centers.
CDMD's presence at the dialogue served as an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and promote cross-border cooperation in the life and health industry.
