Meeting with China Quality Supervising and Test Center for Gas Appliances and Federation of German Heating Industry on European Condensate Research
On 8th May 2019, the European Chamber's Heating Sub-Working Group (Europe China Heating Initiative, ECHI) organised a meeting with China Quality Supervising and Test Center for Gas Appliances (CGAC) and Federation of German Heating Industry. Together with Mr Lothar Breidenbach, Technical Director at Federation of German Heating Industry, Heating Sub-Working Group Chair and Vice Chairs explained the European standardisation on condensing technology as well as the reasoning behind the standardisation based on European condensate research. Mr Qi Wang, the Head of CGAC, Ms Rong Tang, the secretary of CGAC and Mr Guilong He, the Engineer of CGAC attended the meeting.

Meeting with Dongying Port Economic Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau
On 29th April, European chamber met with a delegation led by Secretary Gou Zengjie, Hekou District Committee of CPC and Dongying Port Economic Development Committee of CPC to discuss how to cooperate with the European Chamber to attract investment from foreign-invested in petroleum refining and petrochemical industries. Secretary Gou pointed out that beneficial policies and government support from Dongying Port development zone government will be strong advantages to attract multinational companies and they welcomed European chamber and its member companies to visit the Zone. Ziting Zhang came up with potential areas which can be the bridge to establish collaboration. At the end of meeting, Chamber Secretary Adam Dunnett presented European Business in China Position Paper 2018/2019 to Secretary Gou.
