European Chamber representatives joined the meeting of the Market Access Working Group on SPS Issues organised by EU Commission DG TRADE. The participants discussed Decrees 248 and 249 of the General Customs Administration of China related to the registration of food businesses exporting to China, which had been notified under G/SPS/N/CHN/1191 and G/TBT/N/CHN/1522 and were published on 12 April 2021. European Chamber shared industry's understanding and comments on the two regulations and their implementation.
