Meeting with Agriculture Counsellors of EU Delegation and Member States on GACC Decree 248
European Chamber representatives participated the EU Delegation member states agricultural counsellors monthly meeting. During the meeting, European Chamber shared industry's understanding and concern on the GACC Decree 248 Regulation on Registration Administration of Overseas Manufactures of Imported Foods. Participants also shared latest updates and discussed the main concerns on the implementation of Decree 248.
It was aligned that further clarification on implementation rules and longer transition period are significant for the implementation of these two regulations, especially for registration of overseas manufactures of imported foods. European Chamber and EU Delegation will work closely on the foresaid priorities and seek more engagement opportunities with GACC.
