On Wednesday 27th March 2024, the Maritime Manufacturing & Industrial Services Working Group held a call with Mr Vincent Guerre, Trade and Competitiveness Director of the SEA Europe, to discuss the key priorities in 2023 Position Paper of the working group, the situation of China’s local shipping/shipbuilding industry, and global and China’s decarbonisation updates in maritime sector.

On March 25th, 2024, Mr. Erich Kaiserseder, the Chair of the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, and Mr. Leo Liu, the Office Manager, were invited to attend the Investment Seminar hosted by the Shenyang Federation of Industry and Commerce. Mr. Jin Xiang, the Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Shenyang Municipal Committee and the Party Secretary of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Mr. Zhang Xuetao, the Director of the Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau, introduced the city's situation and investment promotion. Representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises exchanged views on the global economic situation, the "dual circulation" development trend, and industry directions.

The Consumable and Disposable Medical Device Advisory Committee and the COCIR Registration Affairs Taskforce have written to the National Medical Products Administration. They expressed concern about equating a product's service life with product failure, clarifying that the term "service life" should be interpreted as "expected service life". They also proposed that medical device end users should be allowed to manage the "expected service life" of their devices dynamically, potentially extending the use of products beyond their "expected service life" based on regular evaluations and maintenance records.
